Completely agree. This year they're mostly Mean Girls fans (basically the Heathers stans with a new fav) but they're all awful. It's a shame because many shows they defend are great, and the shows they attack are brilliant. It's garbage how toxic it all is.

Out of respect for this fan's privacy, I'm not going to go into detail about this particular incident. But what I will say is that the actress in question here has been more than once called out on social media, and demonized multiple times, because she has the unmitigated nerve to not hug every fan, and listen intently to every unnecessary detail fans share with her about their personal lives. This actress has been treated very unfairly on social media for just being how she is (which, while maybe not as animated, is very nice), and this kind of behavior is just one out of many reasons why teen stans get on my nerves so much.
