Lol they literally just released their tickets. Previews don't start to November. Also they aren't going to have a hard time selling tickets either so they can wait a little longer as well. Cats released their discount a couple of weeks ago and their tickets went on sale in febuary

Hmmm don't remember trying to be funny. I agree with you though with around the end of summer having a discount by then.

I find it a bit funny that you have concluded that tickets "aren't selling overwhelmingly well." I'm not sure what that's based on, but even if it's correct as of today, the show doesn't open until October and they haven't started any significant advertising of which I'm aware. When they start running ads with the reviews from Second Stage, etc. I'm pretty sure that ticket sales will indeed pick up. Don't forget, the Second Stage run sold out every seat (and of course I understand that it was a limited run in a much smaller theater). Hamilton wasn't selling out quickly either during the period of time between closing at the Public and its Broadway opening either, which I know because it's when I bought my tickets.

I wasn't trying to be obnoxious, I was just reassuring potential ticket buyers that the ticket availability is stil plentiful and that a discount code is likely to surface before previews start, which the poster before mine seemed to dismiss. Sorry!

The dates I was looking for, I couldn't find any seats I'd want, so... discount codes don't seem to be a major concern for them as near as I can tell...
