I thought it might be fun to look more closely at the wide range of tastes reflected on this very eclectic board and see what it tells us.
Here's the template I'd suggest.
First, say what you thought of WICKED (a very polarizing topic). If you aren't a fan, list your three favorite shows. If you like it, list your three least favorite shows. Here's mine:
WICKED: A great idea that was badly bungled. Some bright spots, but I really didn't like it at all.
THREE FAVORITES:
SWEENEY TODD
LES MISERABLES
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

WICKED: An enjoyable, if flawed, night at the theatre with catchy songs, fun moments, and a pretty fantastic set by Eugene Lee. If nothing else, it's pure escapism. A couple hours to just put your brain on auto pilot.
LEAST FAVORITE:
-Rent
-Fiddler on the Roof
-Man of La Mancha

Wicked: I actually really love Wicked. I think the score is delightful with a lot of great songs, and I like the story (even if the book is not totally successful). It does have some flaws, but overall, I think it is a great show and production.
Least Favorite Shows:
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat
Happy Days The Musical (or at least Act 1. I didn't stay for the second half)
Young Frankenstein

Wicked: A middling show I never honestly want to see again. Not unwatchable, but certainly overrated.
Favorite shows:
Sweeney Todd
Merrily We Roll Along
Little Me

Wicked: My love for Wicked varies depending on who's playing Elphaba. saw it once with Vicki Noon, and for a couple of hours, it was the best musical I ever saw. Act1 was great, Act 2 had a lot of flaws. Overall quite enjoyable.
My top 3:
Billy Elliot
Wicked
Next to Normal
Least favorites:
Hair... (i just didn't get it.. maybe I'm too young?)
Lion King
