were the lines in the wicked performance planned? the ones like; "elphy you look scared" and "elphy your trembling" neither of those lines are in the show? what was the point of adding them last night?
also why do you think they added idina singing "it's me"? that as well is not in the show. althought i did like it.

They weren't added just for the Tonys.
They're not on the CD, but I remember them from the Gershwin.

Yes all of them are part of the scene in the show. Unfortunatly having the whole scene on the cd would spoil a few things, and in the show, obviously, the scene is much longer and the song is more split up than on the CD or the performance last night..

Posted: 6/7/04 at 10:57amoh ok, thanks for clearing that up, i dont remember those lines from the show, but that must be because i listen to the cd so much.
re: Defying Gravity Line#4
Posted: 6/7/04 at 11:21amI think that the rendition of last night's "Defying Gravity" was shoddy, and difficult for the actresses to perform. I assure you all, it is much better at the Gershwin...

Kristin told people before the show that she was going to say and do things differently in the song just to make Idina mess up. That way, if Idina lost people would nod knowingly. If Idina won, Kristin could rightly claim that the decision was controversial and the award really should have been hers.
And, that's what happening right now on this board. Kristin is here next to me -- using three or four different icons and names -- typing away ferociously.

Posted: 6/7/04 at 9:23pmCheno can't run either. She was lying on the ground waiting for the ambulance, when it finally arrived, the driver accidentally ran her over. Then backed up again. Then went forward again. Then back. Then put the blinker on and drove away.

Could it be Cheno?
