These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Being mean and being a bully are two different things.
You can block him, and never worry about his posts again. Engaging in 'stop being mean' never changes anything. You cannot change others, you can only change how you respond to them. I've not regretted blocking the few individuals here that I have.

Being criticized isn't being bullied.
And I agree that this factoid didn't warrant a new thread. New blocks of tickets go on sale all the time, and it really isn't news.
Be strong. Buck up. We all do silly things at some time or another; being grown-up is admitting that with grace and moving on.

Whether or not the run has been officially extended, I do believe the show can do well if they cast a celebrity singer to play the role of Disco Donna. I watched the show and enjoyed it and think that having a young singer play the role would not only bring in more people, but it would also entice a younger audience to actually come watch. I'm not young-young, just fresh out of my 20s, but when I went I by far felt like the youngest person there. I almost felt like a kid who didn't belong. I've always enjoyed movies, shows and music that were before my generation and I do like Summer's music, but I wasn't expecting the audience to all fall in one particular demographic.
It's a fun show, a bit of a mini-concert so I think that having a celebrity play the role would be perfect.
Also, I will say that I am a bit surprise if does get extended another year. I don't know much about Broadway grosses and figures, but I have seen so many question when Summer would post a closing date on here that it's odd to believe they would last another year. As for not closing right away and running into fall and winter. I think 65% might be preferable for the theatre than lying dormant for several months and making no revenue. Besides there are other shows doing much worse.
