I have a picture of my ticket if anyone needs to see it. Unless it happened in the balcony or during intermission... It did not happen. Not even sure why someone would post this. Again if it was done during the intermission I was in the lobby, But I certainly would have heard people chatting and fighting if they caused such a big disturbance. If not. Kudos to the ushers because nothing happened during the show and they just called the cops. I don't think it happened.

And yet another poster (pretty well respected here) verified the appearance of an officer and the escort out.
Gotta love these boards.
Someone reports bad behavior - reply is "Why didn't you get an usher, idiot?"
Someone gets an usher - "Well, you should've gotten the House Manager!"
Someone contacts the HM - "They never do anything. He should've been escorted out!"
Cops escort a guy out - "Can you prove it? You must have made it up!"
Geesh!
SURE, MARK, LIKE THAT'S YOUR REAL NAME!

HA! (and thanks for the reminder about the OT board on my other post. I had honestly forgotten about it)

duffny1, the title of the original post says that it happened at intermission, not at the beginning of the show. I'm not still not sure I understand who threatened who, and who got escorted out. One of the original talkative couple got escorted out? And who was the person who was threatened? Was it the other half of the original couple, or was it someone else?

It's possible that the OP misunderstood about the arrest. The theater may have requested the assistance of a beat cop so that the removal of the couple would go smoothly. Or perhaps the couple refused to leave, in which case they could be arrested for trespass.

Like I said... I was in the lobby downstairs during the intermission. I did return about 5 minutes before the second act and didn't notice anything. I totally respect the person who wrote this I just didn't see it happen... I certainly didn't hear anyone talking but, yes I was near the back of the orchestra. If it was as bad as everyone said I believe other people would have been shushing really loud and that I would have heard. There was none of that. If indeed the poster is correct then everyone handled the incident pretty well. I didn't hear anybody (so they weren't that loud) and I didn't see anyone escorted out.
I heard from a reliable source that there was some pie throwing involved as well (although, accounts differ as to whether it was Boston cream or lemon meringue).
The arrest was indeed made for "criminal pie mischief".
lulz. This didn't even happen.

Well, the title of the thread does say intermission...
The Officer explicitly told the victim not to worry~~ no one will be waiting outside to further threaten you after the show. The Policeman spoke directly to the victim and said an arrest would be made. All was handled professionally and calmly.
Are some of you unable to register and understand the basic elements that have been corroborated by multiple people?are you just disbelievers and antagonists? Or little children ?

Thanks for pointing that out to me hater. I didn't realize it. I was at least there for five minutes of the intermission, you were not. Thanks for reminding me why I don't usually post on this board.
Still does.t mean that an arrest happened?

Is it "geesh," "jeesh," or "yeesh"?
is it "corruberate" or "frottagerate"?
Hater!

Shmeesh, not sure why you're exasturbating out of control like this, you were the one who said you could only have missed it if it happened during intermission, which it did, and now it is at what point during intermission and I wasn't there, either?! Calm down, gurrl.

Duffny1, you did start your original post by stating "I was there last night and this certainly did not happen."

This is absurd. Boston cream pie is not a pie. It is a cake. Get your facts right. So was it a pie fight or a cake fight?
"
"Exasturbating" is my new favourite word.
I think thats the name of a new sex toy.
