So I've been obsessing over The Pajama Game and Harry's voice has this particular way of making me melt into a puddle of goo and it got me thinking of Broadway folks that make me melt similarly. Just two to start with:
Rex Harrison - that guy had one of the sexiest voices EVER . . . even if he didn't technically sing. It's something about the mild gruffness, I think. Mmmm.
Norbert Leo Butz - he ain't the hottest guy around, but that voice of his turns me on any day of the week. And his voice is so incredibly emotive when he sings! Eargasm City.

Marin Mazzie.
Hugh Panaro
Brian Stokes Mitchell
Brian d'Arcy James
Matt Morrison
Raul Esparza
Michael Arden
Norm Lewis!
And rather yummy in Baby if I might add. I love Norbert's voice too but was a bit let down when I put a face to it. Although a slightly older girlfriend of mines is obsessed with Norbert, Brian d'Arcy James and that mold of leading man.
Oh Norm Lewis...he is quite eargasmic.
I haven't yet had the pleasure of hearing Norm Lewis. Where can I hear him?
Dessa Rose, the Actor's Fund recording of Hair (he does an amazing version of "Flesh Failures (Let the Sun Shine)"), LaChiusa's version of The Wild Party, and Tommy.
agh, Norm Lewis. Like velvet.
Audra McDonald
Laurie Beechman
Uta Lemper
Or on the Stephen Sondeim Album (Fynsworth Alley?) singing With So Little To Be Sure Of/Who Can Be Blue? medley. It will b.r.e.a.k. or warm your heart depending on your mood!!!
Also check out Side Show for his devestating "You Should Be Loved" and the (almost) original version of "Sailing" from A New Brain. Heck buy Infinite Joy while you are at it for his stuff on their too.
*prays to a god i dont believe in that they record his Javert*
EDIT: And yes he is on the concert of Elegies for Punks et al singing "Letting Go". Moves me to tears as I did this show the other year and was a wreck on stage. Mainly cause my big number was at the start of the show and all folk could talk about was that silly song about a brother living in san francisco!
