Wasn't there talk a little while back about Kelly Clarkson possibly playing the role later given to Sarah Uriarte Berry in "Taboo"?
BTW, did anybody see Tamyra in "Bombay Dreams". How was she? God, I hated that show.

At this point I feel like bway.com will just say anyone and everyone they can fro that role. Awhile back they where saying a few people and then like 2 weeks or so later Brooke Tansley was extended. they obviously have no idea and are just doing for attention or what not.
Oh and 'newyorkuniq' ~ The point of a joke is to make people laugh not be hurtful to someone. This is a lesson we all must learn one way or another. how about you make this your day. Brooke is a person with such a beauty to her, also it's the best kind of beauty to have it's the kind you can she her sharing with all the little kids ect. at the stage door.. The big smile that Brooke always has on her face as she walks out the door and the smile she puts on everyone else's face around her! That's true beauty in a person.. also she's pretty so.. "what you talkin bout Willis?"

'newyorkuniq' ~ since you feel the need to make comments to me in PMs but don't except them your self I'll reply to you here.
First off I'm not backing Brooke up because she played Penny as you seem to think.. I didn't become a fan of hers until pretty much she the time she left Hairspray.. but thanks.
Second what you told me to do I don't take as offensive so what I like Hairspray, It's not the only show I have seen or liked, and I was just stating truth here. Got a problem with that... TUFF!

Posted: 1/25/05 at 7:12pmI do not want Diana DeGarmo as Belle... thankfully I have already seen it, before they decided to contaminate Beauty and the Beast with crap stars like Christy Carlson Romano (?). If they add Diana, then I will probably never actually see B & B again...

I saw Tamyra in Bombay Dreams, melissa errico fan.
The show IS dreadful. I saw it in London a few years ago, but had a morbid curiosity to see how they changed the script for the American audience. Anyway, Tamyra was not good or bad. She was pretty much a blob on the stage. Her accent was awkward, but her singing was on the good side. However, she would've been awful in comparison had the show been any better. Because it was Bombay Dreams, she seemed pretty good!
