Merwin was adorable in La Cage, and I much as I grew to love Cerveris in Sweeney, seeing Merwin in the back of the house every time I went to the show, made me wish he had just one shot in the show.

Sweeney todd is a broadway masterpice and who are youu 2 judge it with a group of people that obivously like it?? YOUR A JERK and should go back to wherever you came from.. You probably didnt even see the show!!!

It deserved more praise and did that theater wonders!!!!!

Its just his opinion; don't attack him because of what he beleives. Despite the fact A Chorus Line is a very well received show by most, does not mean all need to enjoy it. A show is not designed for everyone's taste, though it is aimed to appeal to a wide variety of audience memebers. Though I do agree that CoolKid could have structured some of his arguments so it did not offend some people on the board.

It' not a big deal if people don't like Sweeney but, when somone says what happened to all the happy stuff on Broadway that makes me mad. I makes me mad because coolkid is obviously still living in Seasame Street-Land and not all thing in life and on Broadway are happy. If coolkid dosn't know that by now his parents shleterd him way to much or, he is 9.Shows that are happy the whole time are lame and boring.

As annoying (and wrong) as CoolKid is, how many of you Sweeney fans have said similarly insulting things about Phantom..? I go through this every day...it's unfortunate that Phantom gets generally accepted as a bad show just because it's fan base doesn't comprise very much of this "community" we have here.
