Nobody posted in the other thread about it...perhaps this will get somebody's attention. I want to know what happened/what was said.
aw, I didn't realize she was done
The tour is coming my way this summer - do we know yet who will be in as principles at that point?

What tour? Avenue Q doesn't have a tour.
are you thinking of Steph Block?

Apparently so. Conversely, whenever anyone says "Steph(anie)" here, I immediately think D'Abruzzo and they usually mean Block.
I'll second the original question though - Any reports on Stephanie D'Abruzzo's last performance in Avenue Q?
Kelli Ohara singing "Infinite Joy"
Carolee Carmello singing the role of the witch in INTO THE WOODS.
wow- Kelli and Carolee singing for Steph on her last day... that's quite a send off....

did two threads get mixed up a couple posts ago??? I dont think Kelli or Carolee had anything to do with AVE Q lol
I think we're all confused here...
Stephanie Block hasn't/isn't leaving the Wicked tour (yet).
This was D'Abruzzo's last weekend in Q (Vegas), so that must be it.
Lol---I don't know what happened. lol. Im so sorry!

More confusion:
It was Steph's last day in the NY Avenue Q, not Vegas. She's doing an off-Broadway play in February.
She made a touching speech about her five years working with this show and the incredible success its had on Broadway. She almost lost it a few times and I was so happy to see both her and Ann Harada before they depart.
However I didnt mind one bit about not seeing JOhn Tartaglia....Barrett Foa is an excellent relpacement and very cute!
No need to worry - there will be no such confusion when a similar thread pops up in March
I'd actually be interested in hearing about Steph D's last Ave Q show as well... please do tell!
Well, I'm sure it was SOME Stephanie's last day in SOME show SOMEWHERE...
Thanks for clearing it up for us!
I got dizzy reading this...
We were there.... she came out for her final bow, and a number of people started cheering, and she said "well, I guess some of you know".. she started losing it during her "goodbye" speech.
Very touching. She thanked EVERYONE !!! As far as the show.... excellent as usual. Jennifer B. was sick, and missed her a bit, but other than that, no changes. Far as "keeping to the script"
(always so much made of other performers changing things up during their last show).. we didnt notice anything different.
Saw John T. on 45th street on Friday on his cel. Walked right past us. Wondering if he was at the show Sat?
Anyone there happen to see him?
I think I would lose it if I went to that show.
Stephanie will be missed in Q. But, she can be seen in I LOVE YOU BECAUSE starting mid January.
Opening on Feb 14TH.
I adore Stephanie D'Abruzzo and can't wait to see her in I LOVE YOU BECAUSE.
PS This is a few years old, but check it out

I would have given anything to be there. I can't believe so many people didn't know.
Aww, the bit about the speech at the end sounds lovely. Wish I could've been there to see it - she was so fantastic when I saw the show a few months back, and I wish I had had the chance to see her again.
Curiously, has anyone gone to see Mary Faber's first few shows? She's a wonderful performer, and seems like a perfect fit for Kate, so I'm just wondering what people's thoughts are. I'm going to try to catch her in the show in about 2 weeks or so, so hopefully she'll be all nice and settled in and doing fantastically.
Please post when you come back as I am curious to hear about her interpretation of Kate Monster.
