Did anyone play Audience Rewards Predictions for Points?

I was pleasantly surprised to see that I predicted 20/26 categories/questions correctly and received 5,000 points. Last year, I had only received 1,000!

How did everyone else do?

Last year I did really well but just missed getting 5000 points (I had 19/26). This year I barely got 1000 guessing only 15/26! Basically anything that wasn't a lock I got wrong (actor and supporting actors in plays, musical, supporting actor in a musical) and those certainly all add up!

I only got 500 this year and last, but last year I did much better category wise. I wish I'd waited a while before making the predictions. I got almost everything right in a column I wrote for my college newspaper online, but I didn't think to go back and change my Audience Rewards predictions at that point.

Out of curiosity, what categories did those who do really well miss?

I got 17 and 1000 points. My missteps were underestimating the love for Kinky Boots and my lack of faith in the voters for remembering Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. Missing those predictions cost me 7 and my others were featured actor in a musical and sound design of a play.

I only got 1,000 points (this year was pretty tricky to predict! 20/26 is impressive, ljay!) but I'll take 'em. :) I had no idea they did this! Didn't do it last year, unfortunately.

And welcometotheater, that actually wouldn't have mattered because once you made a prediction, you couldn't go back and change it.

Thanks, Rocks! I waited until like 2-3 days before the Tonys, evaluated the buzz, predictions of "experts," and those on this board, then made my final picks. It proved to be a good method.

Thanks, WiCkEDrOcKS, that makes me fill better. I remember changing them before the ceremony last year, but this year they must have disabled that this year. Or maybe I'm just crazy.

Man, I only got 14, so just missed the thousand-point mark! Way under-estimated the love for Kinky, and honestly didn't know enough about the lighting, scenery and costume awards to guess very well...but still fun Did anyone play Audience Rewards Predictions for Points?

First time playing, just earned 500. I underestimated the "Kinky" love, like many here, and hadn't seen most of the plays this season. (Though since I predicted "Woolf" winning everything out of blind hope, that turned out to be a bit of an advantage!)

5000 points that is awesome ljay889! I got 18 of the 26, 1000 points, which is better than I did last year, only got 750 then. I too waited a bit to see what the buzz would be and voted for who I thought would win instead of who I wanted like I did last year. So slight improvement of 250 points, LOL!

I got 17 and so 1000 points. I got two trivias right but they did not count unless you got all right I think. Has anyone in years past ever gotten the jackpot?
