Did everyone get their Gypsy tickets?

get 'em while they're hot! I just did and the guy at the box office said they have been selling amazingly well.

re: Did everyone get their Gypsy tickets?

I did get my ticket, March 3, ORCH Row H, seat 10.

They just went on sale yesterday to the general public, so that's why they're selling so well right now.

Honey, they're always going to be "HOT."

This stuff ain't selling out. There's already a discount code out.

re: Did everyone get their Gypsy tickets?

Ugh!
I was going to try and wait to get a ticket later - I'll be in town at the end of April, and the discount is over by the 20th!
Damn...
Think there will be any more discounts after the 20th of April?

I'm going to try and get tickets tomorrow.
Do you think opening night'll have two tickets?
Never been to one.

re: Did everyone get their Gypsy tickets?

I may get me a ticket just to provide RyToast some much needed company.

re: Did everyone get their Gypsy tickets?

I'm also attempting to go for the first preview on March 3, however I cannot afford a full priced ticket. I'll of course check TDF and TKTS, though they probably will not have anything.

Does anyone know if there will be student or general rush?

re: Did everyone get their Gypsy tickets?

Ry, I will most likely be at the first preview as well.

I usually buy my ticket on the day of the performance when all of the premium tickets are released for regular price.

How did you land an Opening Night ticket?

re: Did everyone get their Gypsy tickets?

I went to get a pair in the front row for my birthday (A Tuesday night in July). Apparently they are holding all tickets within the front 4 rows of the center Orch for premium seats and house seats. Because of that, I didn't end up getting my tickets yet... re: Did everyone get their Gypsy tickets?
I know it sounds silly, but my tradition for the past 2 years is seeing a Patti show from the front row for my birthday, so it has a special meaning to me and the whole situation has sort of rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, Tuesdays are not that popular of a night as it is and it strikes me as a bit greedy.

Here's hoping they release them sometime soon so I can have a happy birthday!

re: Did everyone get their Gypsy tickets?

I'll have to forfeit seeing another show in order to even buy this discount ticket, but it'll be worth it. I saw the show at City Center and was never the same since...

re: Did everyone get their Gypsy tickets?

Ry, aren't you a married man?

I mean, sitting side by side with another man watching Patti LuPone play Rose in GYPSY on Broadway is essentially the equivalent of having hardcore sex.
