Anybody kno a good place I could go for dinner (2 people - me (16) and my mother (46))

I'm going into the city tomorrow night to see LA CAGE and I want to see what you guys say are good places to eat in the city...

When I was up two weeks ago, I had great meals at Thalia (not sure whether they have the prix fixe at dinner, but it was excellent) and Five Napkin Burger. Both are on OpenTable if you want to make a rezzie that way. I'd eat at either one of them again.

Also, there is Becco on Restaurant Row...the house pasta special is a good deal at like $22 per person. Unlimited servings of the three house pasta preparations of the day plus a Caesar or the antipasta. Good stuff.

If you are not looking for anything fancy try Vinyl, 654 9th Ave, between 50th and 51st streets), reasonable & non-toursity

Johns Pizzeria, 260 W 44th just off of 8th, good pizza and reasonably priced for the area.

Agreed on Vinyl...the mac and cheese is most yumm...and a cool atmosphere.

..and I went to the Times Square McDonalds and this Subway near this off-B theatre.

I personally love Junior's or a place called Blockheads between 48th and 49th (I think) and between Aves 7 & 8 (i think)

I do enjoy the mac and cheese at Vinyl.

I've only eaten there a couple of times, but I also enjoy Arriba, Arriba on 51st and 9th.

I ate at Hell's Kitchen (Mexican) prior to ALNM and it was quite yummy. Make a reservation to be safe.

If you're going to Junior's order small. The portions - even a side salad - are humongous.
