Christina --- the unclaimed lottery seats are sold for $167 to the cancellation line; cancellation tickets are sold for $177 last I checked, not $275. They do sell premium seats to the cancellation line throughout the day but for $477.

You guys are so critical. It's a decent list. But no to Kanye West, Fetty Wap, Drake and Will.i.Am. Just... no.

Childish Gambino is the only suitable person on that list since he has acting experience

It is a dilemma for people who have already waited over 24 hours to buy tickets, to just go with the SRO tickets. Instead, they will often choose to stay on the line – extending their stay to 48 hours – in order to get better seats for the following day.


This doesn't sound legit. As in I'm saying I think you made this up. I would love to hear/read the experiences of any of these people who chose to wait two full days on the cancellation line rather than take a $40 SRO ticket they were offered on their first day.

You also shouldn't be presenting opinions as facts. Many (and I would even guess most) on this board would say the show Hamilton is bigger than the lead actor (actorS, even) LIKE The Book of Mormon, not unlike it.

Actually this is a question I've been wondering for a while now - what do they do with the Standing Room tickets now? They used to pull names from the lottery for $40 each when it was done in-person, but they aren't listed on the lottery website. Are they just sold to the cancellation line? That seems like a pretty good deal but I don't think I've ready any accounts of people on the line buying SRO tickets.

The standing room tickets are now offered exclusively to the team of the show for their friends and family, as far as I know.

Thank you for your valuable responses. I have added your valid points and cleaned up some of my poor writing. Its such a complicated (and sometimes liquid) set of rules around these tickets, that I found it hard to properly document the facts. My understanding is that SRO are offered as alternatives for house seats to industry, but unsold SRO are offered to cancellation line.
