"there have been rumors of an enchanted musical, If someone could post some info, please do"

Enchanted isn't coming to Broadway anytime soon (that I know of). What people mean to say is Ever After, which is suppose to arrive next year.

How could you do the animated part of Enchanted?

That said, POCAHONTAS.

There's currently an Aladdin "musical spectacular" at Disney's California adventure. It's a short (about 40 minute) production. I've seen it, and for an in park performance, it's actually pretty good.

That said, do you think this rumored Aladdin would be an extended version of the existing one in CA?

Kate Shindle would be a fabulous Meg! That is a stellar idea! I think that the muses would be kinda difficult to cast, though. I would love to see either Lillias White or Sara Ramirez as Calliope! Come back to Broadway, Sara!!!!

I think Spirited Away would make an interesting musical. If they did make it, it should be set up like a Cirque Du Soleil experience.

I also think Lilo and Stitch would make for a fun musical.

Other Disney Films that I think should be brought to broadway:

Mulan
Hercules
The Emperor's New Groove

And I know this isn't a Disney movie, but I think if they brought Labyrinth to the stage, it would be awesome! David Bowie could write new songs for the show!

I recently saw Aladdin at Disney and I thought it was a million times better than The Little Mermaid that I had seen a week earlier on Broadway. Aladdin is not even one of my favourite films from Disney but this production was excellent.

It would certainly be changed if they brought it to Broadway. Often it is a test to see how the audience responds when they are considering turning them into full scale productions. TLM was at one of the parks for a while before they turned it into a musical - although very different to the current Broadway version.

I keep having these thoughts of Disney teaming up with Cirque Du Soleil and creating a MULAN musical.

just think about it.
