I have been reading your posts for a long time and just cannot bite my tongue anymore.

Any one who is "proud" of the popularity of a thread on a message board is a delusional half wit who has absolutely no one to call a friend, no family to love, and no home to call his or her own. While I commend you for finding a fictional or virtual 'home' on BWW, which it seems you really need, your desperate need for attention and praise by complete strangers on a message board is bordering on lunatic and I would encourage you to seek real treatment by REAL people. Not complete strangers hiding behind silly avatars and ridiculous usernames (like me). Your bipolar attitude toward some of the longtime posters on here is also baffling... It's clear and evident, to me, that you are someone who is painted as an outcast or outsider in the real world so you join BWW to feel accepted. But then you turn around and snap at those who are responsible for helping build that community FOR you. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. I'll say it again... Your desire to be accepted in a community is legitimate and fair - but the way you're trying to gain that acceptance is bordering on trolling and spamming. I encourage you to take a deep breath, step back, and just chill.

Or perhaps you're a conniving little twerp who IS a troll and does this just to get the nasty reactions, comments, etc. It's so tough to tell.

Nice to hear from you again, Clyde. One spends seven days on a cruise without Internet access, anxiously waiting to log on again and the first acknowledgement one receives is one of your eloquent insults.

I realize I'm risking some rather snarky responses, but what Broadway personality might I resemble, being a member of this message board since 2005. "Years from now when you talk about this (me) - and you will - be kind. " It's the only quote I could think of on short notice. Personally, I might resemble a bit of Karen Cartwright.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

I like to think of myself as Ivy Lynn. I have spent years in the chorus working my butt off, but never have had my chance to shine. Of course one day I will find my break out moment, when I create an incredible thread about Into the Woods, but my star won't remain high for long as just as I am breaking through, Jordan (the old bittered director) will get me pregnant, and by the time I return everyone will have forgotten about me and I will be too old for the chorus, so I will have to live out the rest of my days on street corners.

Anyway, Broadway Guy, in the nicest possible way, have you ever thought that the reason that people are annoyed by you, is that you made threads that annoyed people when you first got here (I assume) and then, after people telling you that these threads were annoying, you continued to make the same type of threads/comments? I mean I have no problem with most of what you say, but if you know that others do, then why do you continue to do it?

What threads have i made recently that annoy anyone? The last few threads i have made were genuine and on topic and many people participated in them. Im not the same person i use to be.

But congratulations on being the newest, most annoying legend.

Your avatar is of a CHILD that is most assuredly not yours. That's the most inappropriate one I have ever seen on here.

But it's an "inside joke". I don't know with whom, though.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

ljay889: Kinda. The kid has his hands in a V like EVITA. I really had hoped you would get that.

PalJoey... in your honest opinion, what theatre character/performer might I resemble? Just curious. RC

I love how he has said it has taken him 2 1/2 years, but my calculation put him under two years. Not that I care, it was just the only thing I noticed or have the strength to add as a contribution...I think I am going to go bathe my cat now, seems more exciting.
