Just curious if June 11th is a day to avoid seeing shows.
Yes they do and then complain for ages about how tiring it is
Yes, it's their job.

Yes they do. Are they giving 110 per cent? Magic 8-Ball says: outlook not so good.
last year I saw Waitress for the Saturday matinee, the day before the Tonys. At the stage door, someone commented to Keala Settle how the cast seemed to really be sparking that day. She said YES that there was a lot of energy and enthusiasm because they knew all the Tony votes had been submitted and they could just go out and relax and have fun performing. It struck me as an interesting perspective. I never really knew when the deadline for the votes to be cast was. If it is indeed after that Friday night performance, sounds like maybe that Saturday matinee might be a good performance to attend. I'm seeing Come From Away (for the 2nd time) in that slot this year so I'm excited to see if they're amped up as well.

Thanks everyone! Stage door is not an issue-I don't think my friend is interested in that.
Saw "RENT" Tony day. Lines waiting for lottery, standing room and cancellations, late morning, a bus pulls up and the entire cast comes out in full costume to cheers and is whisked to the Tony rehearsal. Then back, they do the matinee, and then over to the Tonys. Long day but the show was electric and how many days does a performer have a day like that?
