I remember when I had six. The total is now 33,435. They are on shelves in bookcases.

I collect playbills. I buy them, keep them, (I even found a Spring Awakening OBC in the trash can...on the top of course.) I have about 10 signed and like 50 unsigned. My favorites, of course, are the ones I actually went to see but I like them all. Right now i keep them in a drawer, does anyone know where i can get like a playbill book or something to put them in?
I have 54 my favs are
1. Signed In the heights playbill
2. Zero Mostel Fiddler on the roof playbill 1965
3. Record Breaking performance of Fiddler on The Roof

You know the Rent souvenir program that comes with that awful bag? That's where all my Playbills are, gettin' their corners all turned up. I have all of my tickets stored in one of the envelopes they give to you when you purchase from the box office.
I never threw away concert stubs, but I never did anything special with them either. Most of my concert tickets are in the box I keep my nailpolish in. Doesn't bode well for the future of my Playbills.
I have my playbills (about 25 cast and individually signed and about 75 unsigned) in semi-rigid protective comic book sleeves and placed in a comic book box. There are a few (Toni Braxton-Aida, cast signed Jersey Boys, Grease, Avenue Q, Mary Poppins, Legally Blonde) that I have in special Playbill frames on the wall.
It's a great hobby and also a great chance to meet celebrities in person at the stage door.
i keep all of mine and they are singed but some shows i let them sign my souviner book. i am planning on put them in a book with sleeves. same here great hobby for a theatre fan and it could be something for tourists to bring home. plus i lost a couple of playbills because i was in a rush and drop them in the street or left it in the theatre. broadway people do this for their job and they have lives just like us. i do remember another thread like this.
Yes I keep all of them and use the binders/special bags to keep them safe.
Especially the signed ones.
Which are most of them
I'm also a collector, with probably 10 playbills that I did not see that version of the show/performance. Some are signed, some aren't, some are in person, some are through the mail. And I'm thinking of getting a binder, but as of right now I have a box full as well!
"This is BroadwayWorld.com...shouldn't we be asking if anyone here doesn't keep their Playbills?"
I agree. Usually at most shows I go to, I buy a poster and then frame the poster poster, playbill and ticket stub together. If they don't have posters I frame the Playbill and ticket stub.
I also only collect playbills and posters from the shows that I have actually seen
i have a miniture collection most of them are from my regional theatre i go to all the time and they're scattered everywhere but it's something i'd like to pick up

Can you buy one of the Playbill binders online somewhere?
I'm gonna go look, but if anyone knows right off the top of their heads, let me know.

Definitely!
I find it hard to have the actors sign it, since most of the touring shows don't seem to allow for that.
Mine are kept in a trunk with other "memories".
I also like to buy the poster, and frame it...right now I don't have the room to hang them, but if I get to move soon (like i have been wanting for a while), i plan to have a special studio and display them there :)
Oh, yes, and I only have the ones from the shows I have actually attended...otherwise, where would the memory be...?
Yeah, I don't get people getting Playbills for shows they haven't seen either. It just strikes me as a little weird.
Nope. I wouldn't know what to do with them all.
I did in HS/college...and it did break my heart when I realized it was time to get rid of them. But when I couldn't even remember the last time I looked at them, for any reason other than to add to the pile, I got over it.
I've been going to B'way shows since 1978....I would guess I average 15 to 20 shows a year.
I usually keep them only until I've read it. If it's a show I've seen before, I usually don't even take one unless I'm not seeing any other show that month.
I keep mine here

Yay pictures, about time!

I have never had a problem getting actors coming out of the stage door to sign mine in Denver.
