i keep all of my playbills and ticket stubs in the binders that playbill.com sells. i keep the signed playbills in one binder and the unsigned ones in another. ticket stubs and understudy slips go inside the playbills. i love all of them! my favorites are probably the final CATS performance, final Tarzan performance, and spring awakening signed by jon groff and lea michele.
I'm on my 19th leather volume of Playbills from the shows I've seen, plus a shelf alphabetically listed, apprx 1000 loose ones.

Usually I try to collect as many as possible when in the theater (in aisles and such) and then hand them out to my fellow Theater arts students in my school, and then present my review in class. I then keep the one signed and one else, with the signed one in my Playbill Binder and the unsigned in my closet in a large drawer.
I also am in the habit of having them sign the CD lately.
Yep. I filled two of the large Playbill binders and then bought a few binders of the right size from Office Depot. I'm just about to start on my 5th.

I keep mine in folders [per show] in a filing box [i have 2 at the moment and I need another one] and I always ask for extra playbills
I had a nice usher at In The Heights who gave me 15 playbills!
You never know what will happen in 2030 when people value these playbills!
I keep all my Playbills and programs in the Playbill binder. I have nine different Playbills, six amateur production programs I've seen, then seven from shows I've been in (two of those from singing recitals). Seven of my Playbills are signed by the cast. I don't really have a favorite.
I do, but I really need to take better care of them, they are just in a bunch of huge piles stuffed in my cabinet
I originally just had a few and put them on my bookshelf on my desk in my dorm behind my russian bear but then as the collection grew I started storing them in a box - and when I left college my mom offered to take it with her in the car to which I replied " are you kidding? there's stuff in there signed by Patti Lupone, Norbert Leo Butz, and Megan Mullally. this box never leaves my sight"

I've got 2 2-inch binders full of playbills and programs from every theater production I've seen in the last two years. Because I'm OCD like that, this includes Broadway, tours, regional, and even high school stuff.
Because I'm cheap, I just put them in generic, acid-free 8.5x11 plastic sleeves made for the 3-ring binders. It works pretty well because I can either put in 2 playbills or 1 larger program in each sleeve and keep everything together.
I always keep my understudy slips in the playbill, and my ticket stubs go in old school scrapbook pages where you just slid the pictures into the slots instead of making fancy pages. They're at the front of the binder.
This is BroadwayWorld.com...shouldn't we be asking if anyone here doesn't keep their Playbills?
The only one I never kept was Dr. Dolittle on tour because I hated the show. I keep every other one though. Right now, they're in a drawer (along with programs and such), but I need to find a binder to put them in.
What, no wall pictures yet?
You guys are slipping.
"Yes! My plan is to get a table with a glass top and put the Playbills under the glass top. Maybe a coffee table or a dinner table."
This is a good idea!!!!

I've got 2 of those nice playbill binders full, One is full with signed Playbills, the other is not.
If I have friends going into the city and I know they're seeing a show, I'll ask them to bring me a Playbill.
I think I'm loving my signed ITH one right now. It's so hard to pick one though, they're all amazing!

Yes...all 27 years of them...although it's not as many as it could be because I don't live in the city and took an 8-year-break from Broadway when I was married.
They're in a plastic bin that my daughter drags out every once in a while to poke through them.
Most have at least one signature..one has a personal note from Swoosie Kurtz attached to it.

I keep all of my Playbills. Some are signed(most have at least one signature on them and some have almost the whole cast) and some are not. There's 3 Wicked ones that are framed though. Annaleigh Ashford's(which has everyone but Stephanie's siggy on it) and Stephanie J Block's(which only has her and Lindsay K. Northen siggy on it) last shows and Kerry Ellis's(All the leads but Cristy Candler with random ensemble members also) first show. And the last show of the Les Mis revival is framed with the ticket. Those are my favorite ones since they have the most meaning to them.

i bought one of those playbill books off playbill.com and i keep all my playbills and ticket stubs in there.. keeps them nice and doesn't let them get ruined (:
I have several hundred Playbills. Most of them are bound in volumes by the season. See my profile for the list :)
I think it's weird when people sell their Playbills on eBay.
I have the plastic sleeves made for comic books with the cardboard backing the playbills go in there with the tickets above them.

I have a question. What do you guys do with programs rom broadway shows (I mean the large ones full of pictures). I want to keep them safe, but I can't figure out what to do.
I also save my Playbills. I keep them in 6x9 manilla envelopes, they fit perfectly. And keep all of the envelopes in a box. (I also take more Playbills than I need. I saw Cry-Baby w/ my sister yesterday and brought home six playbills. SIX! I have a problem.)
