Ok first of all you probably need a lesson on show biz just because you love Katie does not mean you think no one should be upset for her absences. If Katie cannot carry the role then she shouldn't e on broadway. My friend said when he saw her in thank goodness she screeched the mike so hard we all have our slip ups but seriously this is broadway the best only. If it is a medical problem that's ok but you need to calm down it's called being proffesional as theatreman4 said. Even If you like got divorced the night of a show you still have to go out there an give it your all and don't say oh well it's to hard on her well ok then she should just find another job

My friend told me his besties mom called his sisters mom (his ex babysitter) and KFC wasn't on and she was pizissed.

While I agree with you that it is difficult to perform on Broadway 8 times a week, one must remember that performers take the job with the understanding their careers are demanding. If they can't handle it, they shouldn't be performing in a Broadway show.

Obviously, the case is different if a performer runs into health issues or another emergency. And I don't know anything about Katie Rose Clarke's situation. But if someone consistently calls out due to sheer laziness, then that's not right because there are tons of people who are capable of performing 8 times a week.

Can I just say...for the record....

I ****ing LOVE Laura Woyasz as Glinda. Who cares if Katie Clarke is out all the time? The more Laura, the better, in my opinion.
