Wow--she hit one bad note 16 years ago at a benefit concert. Let's ban her from Broadway forever!
Seriously, I cannot see any reason to post this now. It contributes absolutely nothing.

Well said! This video can't dampen the joy I experienced when I saw Heather Headley in THE COLOR PURPLE, a show that was at its best with her in it, in my opinion.

What? You sound pressed. Are you OK? I brung it up because I never knew about this video and I was wondering if anyone else knew about it. Thanks for implying something I didn't though. Everyone knows Heather is a talent.

I wonder if the OP was even born when the performance in question occurred.

Exactly why would it matter if anyone remembers this?
i've been around a long time - however I prefer to focus on the "here and now" - unless there is some nexus between the past and current news.
But then that is just me...

Some like watching video 'accident' shows, some only talk about the one slight slip a ballerina does in a 3hr ballet and some like to 'brung' up a long forgotten bum note on whatever.
Though--someone told me yesterday about seeing on something a naked guy going for a swim in a lake and then running out screaming with a fish attached to his willy---now THAT'S worth starting a thread for.
