Posted: 5/17/12 at 8:05amDonna was the voice of Mother Gothel the villianess in Disney's Tangled which is the story of Rapunzel, and now she's playing the Witch in Into the Woods and the Witch in that show is the same one from Rapunzel but with more to do. See it now @themysteriousgrowl?

I think Growl's point is: 2 fairy tale roles hardly constitute a trend.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

And Bernadette Peters reads "Rapunzel" to her school class in PENNIES FROM HEAVEN. She was the WITCH in INTO THE WOODS and looks a lot like MOTHER GOTHEL who is voiced by Donna Murphy.
