Does it live up?

Ok- I'm going to NYC in a couple of weeks and we're seeing The Drowsy Chaperone, DRS, Blue Man, and maybe catching some matinees. Our concierge guy said that DC was the best show on broadway and we are lucky to have gotten tickets, that after the Tony's it will be impossible. I have heard great stuff about the show, but honestly....Does it live up to all of the hype? Or is it one of those that I'm going to be disappointed in?

I found a clip on You Tube (I know, it's illegal, but what are ya gonna do?) and I found it a little boring. But, I don't know if it lives up to the hype or not.

i think it lives up to the hype only because so many shows this season are bunk. i don't think it would've lived up to the hype 2 seasons ago though...

it's good for what it is. it knows it's limitations and works from that. if you're a theatre queen then you'll get a lot of the inside references
