Here is a link to the video on the CSB Early Show website. Amy Spanger and Constantine appeared and talked about ROA before Kevin Cronin and Tommy Shaw sang their new song.
Constantine was out for last night's performance and also will be out tonight. Jeremy Jordan was in last night for his Broadway debut. Congrats to Jeremy Jordan. I heard he made a fine Drew last night.
The Regis and Kelly Show is doing their Broadway week and tomorrow, Wed the 29th, is the ROA appearance. Regis and the cast already taped the segment. I hear Regis is decked out in a wig and leather jacket.
Lol I just noticed to the right on the link to BroadwayworldTV, they are showing the segment from the CBS Early Show, too.
Constantine also taped a segment for American Idol Extra, which will be shown this week on the Fox Reality Network. Usually, this show airs on Thursday at 7 and 10 eastern. They were at the theater taping. I'm sure he'll talk about ROA.
Very Cool!!

The Regis piece was adorable.
Jersey, if you put your link below the Message box, where it says "Optional Link" and then, in the box below that says "Link Title" name your link something short, like I have below, it will stop stretching the thread and making it go all wonky.
No special codes, just use the boxes. Thanks.

If you go to ROA's twitter page, you can read the 'twit chat' they did during the cast recording yesterday.
I wonder if they got it all done yesterday.
This is from the article on the Tony Nom Comm announces eligibility:
"Constantine Maroulis and Amy Spanger will be considered eligible in their respective Best Performance by a Leading Actor/Actress in a Musical categories for their performances in Rock of Ages."
>>I wonder if they got it all done yesterday
I heard YES!!
It just has to be mixed.
Should be in the theater in 4 weeks.
I want one! I want it now! lol
Don't forget to vote for Rock of Ages on the BWW Fans' Awards.
There's also the Broadway.com, too. Check it out.
Constantine has been feeling the ill effects of spring allergies the last few days. He was out on Friday night, Saturday matinee, and he is out again tonight.

Constantine will be on E! News tonight and he was on Fox5 news earlier talking about Rock of Ages.
I just can't get over how awesome it is for everyone at the show. Best Musical nomination is going to keep this show going for a long time.
The cast recording is going to be released to iTunes in June and the cd will be available in July per a tweet from ROA today.

was at the show tonight... they were on fire. my favorite thing, during Wanted Dead or Alive, when James slingshots the panties and usually says "panties" he said "Tony Nominations B**ches"

Love this from Kristin on her reaction to Tony Nom:

Best Direction of a Musical for Rock of Ages
?I don?t know if I?ve ever been better than I am right now. I mean, I watched Lin-Manuel Miranda say my name on television! I am totally shocked. When he said my name my hands started shaking so bad I couldn?t hold the phone when people started calling me. Once I had time to take it in, I?ll admit I had to dance around the living room a little. It?s incredible. You watch the Tony?s when you?re five years old, and go, ?One day?? But to have it happen? Holy ****, are you serious? I literally want to run outside and grab people and start screaming, ?Dreams come true!? And now I want to go to Times Square and put on tap shoes and tap down the TKTS stairs, with the Rock of Ages girls as my backup dancers. The show?s been a labor of love for the last five years, so to have it be nominated at all is a testimony to every single person involved and what they do. My cast, my designers, all of them are genius. We are a testament to the importance of being silly, I think, and to celebrating your inner rock star. This is all just surreal. I think I need to go blast Journey?s ?Don?t Stop Believin?!"
I am so happy for her. She is a very large part of the show's success.

Seriously, what could be better than that? Everybody on the creative side, in the Cast (including, maybe Especially, The Band!), and on the Crew are Pros. They deserve this success.

And a tweet from today's luncheon...
broadwaypulse: "Kristin Hanggi says that the last thing she wanted to do was to hire an American Idol, but then blown away by Constantine's acting."4 minutes ago from web
Hahaha. Constantine must be floating. He always said doing Broadway was his dream come true.
Lots of people realizing dreams in a show about dreamers. Beautiful.

Just got word that "Rock of Ages" star James Carpinello ("Stacee Jaxx") will be the guest at Seth Rudetsky's weekly talk show "Seth's Broadway Chatterbox" tonight, May 7th.
Per Playbill.com, James will be bringing "Rock of Ages" guitarist David Gibbs with him to the Chatterbox and will be debuting a song cut out of the show, written for Stacee and his fictional band Arsenal, entitled "I Want Your Cans."
The weekly live talk show, which includes interviews and performances from Broadway stars, is held at 6 PM at the New York cabaret Don't Tell Mama. There is a $10 donation and a two-drink minimum. The donation goes directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the nation's leading industry-based, not-for-profit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization.
