Dr. Dolittle

I took C8 to Dr. Dolittle. This show has limited market on this Board. It is geared towards children and there is little adult humor to temper the basic plot.

I liked it. It was 95 in Chicago and what else to do on a hot Saturday afternoon? Tommy Tune is a Broadway icon. He has long legs and he uses them well for a man of 60 (according to C. I love Dee Hoty and it was great to see her.

There is no intermission and the show is 90 minutes.

The dancers are talented and the orchestra sounded great!

He's 67 to be exact. WOW! But after seeing Chita Rivera still kicking it at 73, nothing surprises me about those dancers.

I saw Ann Miller in Sugar Babies in about 1983 and our own KMF was in the chorus! (a little BWW history)

MS, is the show closing or moving on??

I saw Dr. Doolittle at Kansas City Starlight Theatre a few weeks ago. I found the show to be incredibly boring, although I did do a workhop with the dance captain, Adam Cates, and he taught us the opening number of the show, which was great. I was also impressed by Aaron Burr... he's only 12 and I would love to be able to tap like that!!!!
