Dracula canned by the Post

Maybe the headline of the Dracula review in the NY Post will say enough: "It Sucks!"....ouch!

Did this really need a thread all of its own?
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Um, ok, then having not read or seen any other articles, can people tell me what they read in other newpapers?

Why don't you just look down the board to the numerous other threads about the show and the reviews it received? Just a thought.

Wicked, you post away. I was glad to read your message. I'll have to look online for that review now!

It makes me sad to think of all the money they spend to do this show, all the time and hard work, all for it to end up how it is.
You know it and you want it... you just can't believe you've got it.

O darn, I thought maybe after all its work and clean up maybe it would get better reviews. Still, some shows that come out and get bad reviews are still very good. I thought so with Dance of the Vampires as well as Wicked. You never know

re: Dracula canned by the Post

Thank god the Post canned it... I feel like the only one on the board who thinks this show is awful. Everytime I post how bad it was when I saw it two weeks ago, I get an uproar of why you shouldn't judge a show in it's previews. The show shouldn't be showing to an audience if it's not ready to recieve criticism. When I saw it-- it wasn't ready for an audience (and still think it needs to be thrown away all together), and obviously the Post doesn't think so.
And if she'll say, "My darling, I'm yours!" I'll throw away my striped tie and my best pressed tweed, all I really need is the girl...
