^^ Sad, but I'd rather see him as Huey than hear that godawful butchering of a Tennessee accent from what's-his-face again.
Serious casting:
Jeremy Jordan as Huey
Jennifer Hudson as Felicia
This thread casting:
Jordan as Huey
Oprah as Felicia
Who in the hell said I wasn't being serious?
I never said you weren't being serious, I posted my serious thoughts then I posted what would happen according to this thread. Your first choice for Huey was perfect.

Not sure if you realize this, Mike, but Jordan is a very serious person. He does NOT joke around... especially about dream casting. Buck up, son.
I'm offended and seriously pissed off that anyone would take my original posting as a joke.
Sorry to offend you Jordan. I mean I guess Oprah would make a pretty good Felicia...
Can Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse on "True Blood") sing? He'd be a pretty much perfect Huey if he can.

Why would you ever want to punish Kwanten by subjecting him to this hideous musical? What did he do to you, darque?

I always thought Chad Kimball's bizarre performance was an attempt to channel "Ernest T. Bass" from the Andy Griffith Show.
Someone else called it "A mentally challenged George W. Bush", which seems redundant.

Maybe judges should sentence criminals to having to perform this musical in public as their sentence.
