Cats- This is crazy and near impossible but I woud love to see Cats done with real cats, and if possible no CGI. If done right it could be pretty incredible, but this is probably just because i love cats as animals.
Urinetown-
Officer Lockstock: Christopher Walken or John Lithgow
Little Sally: An unknown. Or (why not?) Dakota Fanning.
Pennywise: Meryl Streep or queen latifa
Cladwell: Richard Gere
Bobby/Hope: Younger unknowns (I just think it'd be cool if they pulled a Franco Zeffirelli Romeo/Juliet and cast the leads as of-age unknowns. When I say younger I mean 18-23ish)Oh, but going against the unknowns thing I'd put Anne Hathaway down for Hope.
Barrel: John Goodman or Jack Black
Becky Two-Shoes: Renee Zellwigger (this dream cast is practically recycling the chicago cast anyhow)

I'm drawing a blank for the rest of the cast. But the above would be PERFECT.
Whoever said Dick Van Dyke for the wizard- BRILLIANT. Also, if Mary Poppins were to be remade I'd put Martin Short in the Bert shoes. Maybe Jim Carrey but i dont know if he can sing/dance.

Cabaret really needs to be remade with Sam Mendes as director.
The only two people I can even imagine as Emcee would be Alan and Ewan , suddenly someone else popped into my head..bit of a dark house...Robert Downey Jr.
Sally...I could see a number of interesting casting choices...while Natasha would be my top choice others I could see being very successful are Felicity Huffman, Calista Flockhart, and based on Being John Malkovich I also think Cameron Diaz could be excellent in the role....

A remake of CAROUSEL has already been announced - under FOX and Hugh Jackman's production company, with Hugh as Billy Bigelow.
He has performed in the Carnegie Hall concert of CAROUSEL - so we sort of know what to expect ( see photo).
For the role of Julie Jordan -- how about Kate Winslet? They sounded well together, vocally-speaking, in the recent animated movie FLUSHED AWAY 
For the role of Jigger, maybe Norbert Leo Butz could repeat the role he performed in the CAROUSEL concert with Hugh? Or how about Christian Bale, if he could be persuaded to do a movie musical cameo ( I saw him in the musical NEWSIES when he was much younger).

Felicity Huffman?! Cameron Diaz?
In my opinion, Sienna Miller would be perfect. I can't really imagine anyone better. She's beautiful, a terrific actress, and British (!). Plus, she can give Sally the charm, sadness, and humanity the role requires. PLUS, she can carry a tune.

I only have a couple of opinions here. I'd LOVE to see Hugh Jackman in 'Guys And Dolls', but I'd really rather have him as Nathan and some younger dude as Sky.
'Sunset Boulevard' - I'd rather like to see Hugh or John Barrowman as Joe. Haha, we should be so lucky. -_- (Mind you, age doesn't have to be an issue here, seeing as John Barrowman apparently hasn't aged for the last twenty years or so. XD)
'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' - Jack Black for Freddy. And we could TOTALLY get away with bringing back Jonathan Pryce for Lawrence. That would make my day, it really would.
