Seriously, I am sure Beyonce is great!
And if Johnny Depp can get a nomination for doing the same old stuff in POTC 2, I am sure Beyonce most definitely deserves a nomination

If you have not seen "Lady sings the Blues" do not say anything about Ms. Ross in the acting department. She was Tour de Force in that film and I know everyone will jump on me but she deserved the oscar over Liza that year. It is really that great of an achievement. From the opening shot when they zoom in on her eyes you KNOW she has committed. One of the most overlooked performances of all time.
