As I said in the other thread, beware of Best Buy. They had it available and in-stock for in-store pickup on their website, but the stores DO NOT have it.
Instead, they'll be keeping your money for 8 business days, in time for most credit cards to close their billing cycles. So you'll be paying interest on something they sold without having.
That said, I have tickets to something other than a Broadway show tomorrow night, but I'll be stopping by Tower or Virgin before the show specifically to get this CD.

I'm glad they included a cut song on the CD!
The Wedding Singer really should have included "Right On Time"

"Was "I Remember Love" cut from the show?"
Affirmative. It was staged for Los Angeles, but replaced by the current song for Engel & Hibbert.
I'm glad they recorded I Remember Love for the CD, but I had hoped they would also record the Robert's Dream Ballet that was also cut from the show. There certainly was enough time left on the CD for it, and the music was alot of fun to listen to.

I wouldn't think so. The song that's in the show now showcases her just as much.
The original gag came right after the Robert's (now cut) ballet. The ballet was explained to the audience as a recap of the entire show (like the dream ballet in Oklahoma). Man in Chair explains after the ballet that this was too modern for a 1930's audience, so the number was cut and was replaced by "I Remember Love".
What would have been fun was to keep that same gag idea about a cut number and right after the Bride's Lament have Man In Chair do an explanation of "I remember Love"... then say that THAT number was cut in favor of the current song. Although, I'm sure Casey Nicholaw and Lisa Lambert would think that idea was like beating a dead Monkey.

Posted: 6/11/06 at 6:54pmI live in Kansas City, MO and I read about the rush-release on Friday and made a run to Barnes and Noble to see if it was really true, and sure enough. I just listened to the cd and read the beatiful insert and everything. I haven't seen the show, but it seems like a VERY good representation. There's more dialogue than on most modern OBC's and detailed notes in the insert.
