Drowsy Chaperone Revival?

It's been a decade guys.

This thread is to discuss a Drowsy revival, this means cast, setting, directors, conductor, producers, everything.

The only requirements are that there has to be. Beth Level, Danny Berstein, and Bob Martin.

The rest is up to you.

I just said that Beth needs to be Drowsy, I love Lesli and all, he's hilarious, but no one could beat Beth.

I'd love her as Janet though!

I could even get behind giving Leavel a shot at Mrs. Tottendale, but not the Chaperone. Been there, done that, won a Tony for it. Burstein is even an intriguing choice for Man in Chair, but again, no need to relive the past.

Carol Channing as Mrs. Tottendale. No acting required at this point!

I'd love to see Jim Parsons play the man in the chair.

What ever happened to the Drowsy Chaperone movie? There were reports that Geoffrey Rush had involved and Fred Schepisi was going to direct. Rush was going to play Man in Chair after playing the role on stage, and other Australian actors were rumored to be joining the cast.

I'd love to see a super starry revival with David Hyde Pierce as the Man In Chair, Megan Mulally as Janet and Sean Hayes as Robert.

Megan would be fantastic as the chaperone I think. not as Janet though

Patti Murin as Janet. She's taking all of Laura Osnes' deserved roles anyway (I wanted to build a snowman with Osnes )
