I wonder how much of a percentage of the tickets Daniel Radcliffe signed up for? Those prices are YEOUCH!

Just wondering, me and a friend plan to see this show in November and I was wondering how fast it selling? Should I go ahead and get my tickets off of Telecharge or can I wait until they go on sale at the box office (August 4, I think)?

You can wait til the box office opens. They haven't released a lot of the best seats yet.

Are they having on stage seats? Updated On: 7/5/08 at 02:59 PM

Thanks for the info, I think I am just going to wait until the box office opens. I hate having to pay the service fee that Telecharge requires.

I saw the original with Burton

Thanks to the obscene prices & the fact that no one could top him, we will pass on this as well.

The show was always going to run through until February. It's a strictly limited engagement because Radcliffe has commitments to the 7th Harry Potter movies, I think.

I'm assuming they'll do some sort of rush, but it will probably be tough to get tickets. I'll wait 'til then.

I doubt they would have student rush. They will have SRO though according to telecharge.

I predict this show is a scalper's dream. Buy as many tickets as possible -- and you'll be guaranteed to sell them for huge profits. GRRRR! I strongly suspect the scalpers will buy them out quickly.

I'm honestly shocked they haven't already announced days that Radcliffe's understudy's going on. He's got to do some press for Harry Potter 6, so won't he be missing at least a few performances?

Perhaps most of the press well take place in New York anyways, so he could still attend shows?

The show's performance schedule is designed around his publicity schedules for Harry Potter. Unless something unexpected happens, he is currently scheduled to perform in all performances.
