Just wondering, me and a friend plan to see this show in November and I was wondering how fast it selling? Should I go ahead and get my tickets off of Telecharge or can I wait until they go on sale at the box office (August 4, I think)?

You can wait til the box office opens. They haven't released a lot of the best seats yet.
Are they having on stage seats?

I saw the original with Burton
Thanks to the obscene prices & the fact that no one could top him, we will pass on this as well.

The show was always going to run through until February. It's a strictly limited engagement because Radcliffe has commitments to the 7th Harry Potter movies, I think.
I'm assuming they'll do some sort of rush, but it will probably be tough to get tickets. I'll wait 'til then.

Posted: 7/5/08 at 3:32pmI doubt they would have student rush. They will have SRO though according to telecharge.

I predict this show is a scalper's dream. Buy as many tickets as possible -- and you'll be guaranteed to sell them for huge profits. GRRRR! I strongly suspect the scalpers will buy them out quickly.

Posted: 7/5/08 at 7:53pmI'm honestly shocked they haven't already announced days that Radcliffe's understudy's going on. He's got to do some press for Harry Potter 6, so won't he be missing at least a few performances?
