Why would anyone want to see this? I endured it on a flight to Madrid (long before those individual television screens were available. It was dreadful--and I couldn't escape it.

I have to agree. I haven't been able to make it through the entire movie, Madonna destroyed the role for me! It appears the revival is truer to the movie then the original production.... so sad.

I have wiped this movie from my mind, along with the movie version of Nine.. Sad to hear that the new stage production is closer to the movie than the Hal Prince production.

I really just started this thread for those fans of the film who may not have known about this release. Didn't mean for it to turn into another tedious "I hate this movie and I hate Madonna in it thread."

Thanks for sharing Carlos. This is my favorite movie in the world. It truly is. It's what made me fall in love with Madonna and theatre. I can't wait to get my hands on this blu ray release!
