Hi friends,
I make it down every spring to catch a handful of shows, and typically, have no difficulty picking the 5-6 shows that I’d like to see.
I am looking for 3 options (Jan. 3, 4, and 5). Of those currently playing, I’ve seen Sweeney, & Juliet, Moulin Rouge, Hamilton, Shucked, Little Shop, Hadestown, Mormon, and Wicked. I was thinking:
Merrily We Roll Along, ____, and ____? What are your thoughts?
Some of my favourites have included: Ghost, Moulin Rouge, Newsies, The Prom, Miss Saigon, and The Color Purple.
I’m open to plays, but do prefer musicals. I’m not interested in SIX, Chicago, Aladdin, or Lion King.
Does anyone know if Bonnie Milligan is scheduled to continue performances in Kimberly Akimbo in January?
I’m a bit stumped, to be honest. Thanks for your help, in your suggestions—I read many of the posts on here, and value your opinions/perspectives.
Do you have any interest in We Are Here?
Purlie Victorious? Harmony?
Maybe wait & see what the reports are for How to Dance in Ohio once it starts performances.

Kimberly Akimbo is just wonderful. And while ideally you would still see it with Bonnie Milligan and Victoria Clark (whose contract I think is also coming up), it's still well worth seeing even without them. Otherwise, maybe Here Lies Love, Here We Are, or Spamalot?

I heard the cast of KA extended til March including Bonnie, Justin and Victoria who are definitely worth seeing.
Kimberly for sure. You don't want to miss that one.
I agree that Harmony or How to Dance in Ohio would be on my list but it also seems as though you like spectacle shows so maybe Back to the Future would be a good contrast to the smaller feeling Kimberly and Merrily?

Well Glen Ballard links Ghost and Back To The Future so that would be my recommendation.
