Early Screenings of In the heights movie

I’ve heard that there have been some early screenings of the new in the heights movie, so just wondering if anyone’s seen it. If so, what did you think?

I’m fairly certain they finished filming late summer/early
fall... if they were still filming a major motion picture that’s set to be released in less than 5 months I’d be a bit concerned.

They are still shooting next week.

On the other in the heights film adaptation board there have been people who were invited to watch an early screening of the movie (they were industry invites) but I’ve also heard they were looking for more extra for reshoots maybe this month. From what I heard the film wasn't completely finished, but a few have seen the unfinished version.

Nobody should be alarmed by reshoots. The majority of films do them, especially something as complicated as a movie-musical.

CATS did not reshoot scenes.  They reworked the CGI on the finished film.  

IN THE HEIGHTS finished filming months ago.  It is currently having test screenings and isolated coverage is being filmed this month.  No principal actors have been called in to reshoot anything.

they started reshoots on monday. stephanie beatriz, daphne rubin vega, and olga were on set. and dancers are on set too.
