Ed Ames has died at 95. Star of Broadway, TV, recording, and of course the summer stock circuit!

He replaced Jerry Orbach in CARNIVAL (and also led the first national company), and appeared in the original Broadway production of ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST.

He was also a fixture of the summer stock circuit (Kenley Players and others), starring in shows like Man of La Mancha, Camelot, Carousel, Fiddler, South Pacific, and Shenandoah.
