cant say how glad i am. we had to hav known she was good, why else would she be idina's standby!?! thank the lord this show has a future, i def dont wanna see it go, the fact that the cast was amazed...jeez now idc who i see when i go in april (though i hav a soft spot for idina)

FYI Eden is leaving the show to do Brooklyn. The show starts in September so I don't know when exactly she's departing.

Brooklyn Bound, did you see the show? I want to see Eden so bad. I'm so glad she got a chance to perform!

Yes, paid scalper prices to see Eden today... and it was worth it. Even the cast was high-fiving Eden at curtain call.

Details? She didn't miss a cue that I could see. Her expressions, her hand/arm movements, her poise, and the sheer power of her voice was... wow. Kristin played off of her wonderfully. They looked like they were have fun together.

Yes, Kristy is really great! She's done a few concerts and has performed "The Wizard and I" at them. I'd LOVE to see her go on as Elphaba!

theres another post on this--but basically a standby is not part of the chorus, whereas the understudy is, thus if the understudy takes one of the leads parts, swing needs to take over their chorus parts--very few shows have standbys
