Yes, after a long time.. She manages to answer a few peoples questions:

Sometimes, they just pick weird questions. "What is Elphaba's nail color?"
C'mon.

Oh my gosh, it took them forever to put this one up...
Haha, yeah, I know the nail color/lipstick one was a weird question... but it was mine. :x I asked as many questions as I could. They like picking weird ones to answer, and I was honestly curious what they used. *geek* Heh.
She didn't answer mine or my friend's. But it's nice to see that after about 6 months they decided to put this up.

You all make is sound like Broadway.com deliberately didn't put up the answers.
In all likelihood, it was Eden who didn't get around to answering the questions until now. If you want to "blame" someone, blame her. Sheesh!
god, eden is so boring.
and no wonder she isn't good in the role. she's taken very few voice lessons. at least we have an explanation now.

^uhh, yeah... about that. How in the friggin heck can she belt like THAT if she's only ever taken a few brief voice lessons!?!? haha, that is pure insanity! if she can do THAT without many voice lessons, and the few she DID have mainly for building stamina purposes... then just.. wow. haha
and.. yeah.. even though idina will always and forever be elphie for me, Eden comes DARN close, and I think she does the musically wonderfully. There are a fewww little pronunciations here and there that I think she says a little bit funny, but honestly, everyone but idina who has done elphie in wicked seems to do that occasionally haha. It's mostly with things like the "gonna" in the "is ever gonna bring me down". ONLY idina has done that right, in all the different people I've heard. haha. But yeah, other than those little things I love eden, a LOT doing the role of elphie :) And I loved her in BKLYN even more. And again I say, how in the HECK did she learn to sing like THAT with only a few brief voice lessons!?!? lol
Willact~ I saw her in WICKED and thought she was amazing. Is something wrong with your ears because her voice is SO AMAZING! So can't say I really agree with you because I have seen her twice and she has blown me away.
Yeah Eden is pretty boring. Im confused I have the same name as somebody who put a question, And that question is exactly like the one that I put. I asked that question late at night and I might have put a Z instead of an M?
Not everyone needs voice lessons to belt. Or even belt well for that matter. Actually, if you need voice lessons to learn how to belt be VERY carefull about the voice teacher you choose.

^really? huh... that's interesting.. coming from someone who cannot sing worth a FLIP and has only ever taken chorus when they were in elementary and middle school, it just seems like belting would take maybe some of the most vocal training. I mean, it seems like its easy enough to DO, but to actually do it WELL seems difficult. It seems like you really have to be trained as to where to do it from and how to use your voice properly so you dont hurt it, no? Cause, sure, its easy enough to scream/sing at the top of your lungs, but thats not really good belting, is it? haha. I dont know, it just always seemed to me like if you're gonna do it on broadway, unless you're okay with totally blowing out your voice, you should proobably want to take lots of voice lessons to learn how to do it correctly :) again, though, I have aboslutely NO vocal training and dont know all that much about it. haha
Ok, SNL--calm down. First of all, Eden doesn't belt, she screams. You wanna hear a true belter? Listen to Julia Murney or Ana Gasteyer--hey even Shoshana has a very healthy and nice to listen to belt. Eden screams the songs.
And are you serious about Idina? I'm sure there are MANY people on this board who would disagree with you about that. Idina ****ed up her voice in Wicked because she didn't know how to sing properly, much like Eden is doing right now. I'm glad you enjoyed her, as it would be a shame to waste $110, but try to learn what a REAL singer is before trying to insult people on the board.
And belting is never easy. Unless of course, you scream it.
Neither Eden nor Idina screams. Get your ears checked.
It also is entirely possible to learn how to belt, or how to learn to strengthen your mix to produce what sounds like a belt (which is what most singers do anyway). Some people are born with that talent, however, and, like Eden, they take some lessons here and there to work up stamina and make sure they are belting/mixing correctly.
again, though, I have aboslutely NO vocal training and dont know all that much about it. haha
Then maybe you shouldn't talk so much about what you don't know.

um, I'm sorry guys. I wasn't trying to... lecture or anything. lol. I was just genuinly curious about the belting thing. I rreally do apologize if it came across as that I was arguing about it or anything. I was really just wondering, cause to me it always seemed like belting was pretty difficult. haha, so I was interested to hear what made it easier than other singing styles :) seriously, I was asking, I wasn't debating. haha
and, I'm an idina fan. That is all. I think she is an amazing singer, and I dont feel that I really need to defend that- everyone has the right to like who they like, and I happen to love idina :) and eden! It's totally fine if you guys dont like them, but I just.. do hehe
"Then maybe you shouldn't talk so much about what you don't know."
HEY. Way to be a snob! It doesn't seem like snl was preaching anything, just merely stating her opinion and admitting she's not familiar with vocal technique. What's wrong with that? She's not allowed to have an opinion unless she's a trained vocalist?

I have a question... people who put "lol" and "haha" after each sentence (even if it's not funny), is that how you talk in real life?
Broadway Legend Joined: 10/4/05
^no, not really. I dont know.. its one of my bad internet habits... but I just feel so.. unfriendly when I dont use anything. I obviously dont think other people are unfriendly when they dont use anything, its just it seems very unnatural to me at this point. Like right now, its very odd not to be using lol, haha, or a smiley face. I'm sorry, I know it can get annoying- again, its a very bad habit of mine. But I figure, I dont mind when other people do it,so I just hope other people are the same toward me. I'll try and cut back though, because I know it annoys some people!
and for the record, I AM a very smiley and bubbly person in real life! it doesn't just come from no where! I'm probably super annoying in real life too.. lol
BroadwayGirl, have you seen Idina or Eden live?
Then come back and tell me they don't scream.
