I officially am pissed too! I have tickets and I wanted to see Stephanie, nothing against Eden, I just want to see Stephanie. They couldn't have picked another city?

jflynn - no confirmation yet, other than so and so heard it from so and so who's sister heard it from her friend who heard it from Eden at the stage door. Just a rumor so far as far as I am concerned.

Even if this news is true, I find it extremely distasteful that Eden and her people are announcing this news before Stephanie or anyone else connected with Wicked has a chance to make an official announcement. Tacky.

i am going twice in august and once in september, tickets went on sale MAY 1st, so i hope i can meet tiny and anyone else who wishes to come to SF. PM me and we can perhaps meet up. As for Eden's talent, it is unbelievable, how can you deny that? She is a brilliant performer!

You have no idea how much I'm going to laugh if it turns out Stephanie is going to be Elphaba and Eden is her cover and in the ensemble or something.

However, I'm worried. Would Eden say something that wasn't true? I'm glad I already got to see Steph in Toronto (AMAZING! She turned me into an obsessed fan and I never thought I'd be that type) but if she does have to be out all of SF she must be really hurt

[I am by no means dissing Eden here. I personally think that her and Stephanie are the best Elphabas I've heard, but only having SEEN Stephanie I have to say I loved her acting so I like her more. But Eden, based on her voice, is a close second and better than some of the others IMHO.]
