It was said by many people who spoke to her at her last Brooklyn performance and she made it official. The stories are in the other post about Eden :)

I'm concerned that this means Stephanue is out of the LA run too. Did anyone see the show this weekend? Was she in?

Why all these rumors? I thought that someone only takes over a touring city if they are a big name or originated the role.
I think it would be extremely rude (and a bad decision) if Block got put off so a former standby could do the role for a bit.

From what I understood, Eden is going to be in the ENSEMBLE in San Francisco. At least that's what I thought she said when I spoke to her.

JoMarch - yes I saw her yesterday, 6/26, matinee (yep people, lucky lottery #3!) and she was in and better than ever! Seriously, the best performance out of the three so far that I've seen. Glinda, however was Emily Rozek yesterday for the matinee and so I've now seen a different Glinda each time I've gone. I didn't do the stage door thing so I don't have any info on Eden (not that I'd waste my chance to speak with Stephanie on asking her THAT anyway).

She said she is confirmed to play the SF run of WICKED.

True I have never seen Brooklyn or heard Eden but I'm sad for SF if this is true. You are totally going to be missing out on Stephanie!!!!
EDIT: Ok I realize how selfish this all sounds...bottom line is that I hope Stephanie gets back into top shape cause this must be really hard on her. It's just so confusing to see her be brilliant and think that she could be BETTER??? OMG! Is that possible?

Eden herself told me she was playing ELPHABA in San Fran.. then I asked if she was going to come back to the bway cast and she said she would love to.. she loves the show but, as of now does not have any plans to.

I hope there is a reason for this (which there must be because no one outside of Bway addicts has a clue who Eden is) because right now it sounds absolutely disrespectful to Block.
