Edwin Drood Tour?

Does anyone know if this will happen? I really wanted to see this show but I could not make it to NYC before the closing.

I SO wish, but I highly doubt it will happen. This show was a true gem and while I'm not saying Pippin didn't deserve the Tony I really wish Drood would've received at least some recognition.

^ I agree! I wish Pippin would have been delayed until next season so Drood would have taken home the award.

Yeah and while Patina is awesome and was worthy of a nomination I feel that eaither Stephanie or Carolee deserved to win because they have been around for awhile and have paied their dues and they both NEED one already!!!

I was really rooting for Will Chase to win Best Featured. He was ASTOUNDING in Drood.

I thought it would because of the Anything Goes tour from Roundabout, then as I thought about it not a lot of Roundabout shows tour. I wish they would though! I saw Anything Goes in Nashville and was amazed by the quality of the production. Roundabout should make this happen!

Tours cost a lot of money, an asset Roundabout does not have to spare.

I think this would lose a lot of it's charm on tour. The touring houses are HUGE.

To get back on-topic, I wish it would tour. However, I can understand why it wouldn't.

I wonder why, but my friends and I strongly disliked 99% of the show, except for the audience participation part which was hilarious. I am a huge Stephanie Block fan but I was just not impressed by anything in Drood, especially the score.
