I just wish she was doing the show here in New York. I have such admiration for Emily Skinner. I'm so happy for her.

It had been announced that the Australian Mrs Wilkinson Genevieve Lemon was to play the role in The Chicago production. Maybe they couldn't get an Equity clearance?

Genevieve was blocked by Equity, so she is going to London instead.

It's both. It's a tour with Chicago as its point of origin...however, the producers are hoping it will sit-down, so there is no closing date announced...similar to Jersey Boys.

I for one am upset that I no longer have to go to Chicago regularly for my job. I wish she was going to Broadway rather than Chicago. It is a much easier jaunt for me from DC. Ah, I haven't been to Chicago in a while and I love that city so maybe I will try to go.

I wasnt gonna see it while it sits down here in chi town since im seeing the show when I go to London in August so I figured I can dodge the obscene ticket prices but I really do like Emily Skinner. I might just have to go now.
