Can we send the underwhelming current Broadway Mrs. Wilkinson (whose name I cannot even remember) to Chicago and have the divine Ms. Skinner take up residence at the Imperial?

If by that you mean she looks a little more like Julie Walters than Haydn Gwynne.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Would love to see her in the role! I agree, bring her over to Broadway, wonder if this is some kind of pre-Broadway run for her, that'd be fantastic.

Most dance instructors are not lithe. Have you been to a little girls dance school lately? Skinner is the perfect character actress to play the role. She will nail it. Charisma in droves.
