Posted: 1/10/14 at 2:47pmI still don't have tickets to this and I really don't know what to do. Thompson looks marvelous from what little I've seen, and I really don't want to miss her. But last year, Nathan Gunn's atrocious Billy Bigelow ruined what should have been a pretty perfect production of Carousel for me, and I really don't want that to happen again.

Stick with them PJ - I'm looking forward to reading your opinion of this.
I saw the Terfel/Friedman concert live and, whilst I may have reservations about it (and I'll save them until after the forthcoming performance), Terfel sung the role magnificently, bringing out the full beauty of Sondheim's music in a way that lesser singers cannot. I'll be lucky if I hear his rendition of Pretty Women (along with the equally magnificent Philip Quast as Judge Turpin) bettered.

Oh, I'm still going!
I just had to switch my night from Friday to Wednesday because of another commitment. My Wednesday tickets are not quote as good as the Friday tickets, so someone is going to get some nice front-row seats, (albeit in the second ring).

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
