Does anyone know if NY City Center is opening before the 2022 Encores season?

Their “Into the Woods” is slated for later this year, isn’t it?

Their website says Into the Woods is May 4 – 15, 2022.

Nope. Their shows start again in February 2022.

I honestly thought the Into the Woods comment was facetious because I missed that they had announced a season already. I wonder if they'll ever put on their productions of Love Life and Thoroughly Modern Millie that were cancelled.

Oh man, i hope they pull out all the stops for the gala show. They have a history with so many A-Listers, I imagine they can get some amazing names for a 5 day run of something to help them out.

Me too!! Come back big! Their productions have gotten more and more impressive over the years, so something grand and lush would be wonderful.

I agree. Some big names for the gala would be wonderful. It was my first thought when I read the article. Just loved Brigadoon and the casting.

Sorry if there was a more relevant thread to bump but is anyone going to see The Tap Dance Kid? I did enjoy After Midnight but this show doesn't feel like much of a draw. If you're familiar with it, how would you guess the show has aged?
