Wowza.
Angela sounds amazing!
I went to a few of these S.T.A.G.E. benefits/tributes in Los Angeles. The (theatre) star-studded one at the Doolittle for Sondheim was incredible.
I didn't see the Jerry Herman one, but after watching this, I sure wish I had!
Oh, W.O.W.

When was this done? recently?
wish they had the entire video, but that was exciting!!
I believe it's from 2001.
It is so amazing! I wish the Kennedy Center Honors would recognize Carol Channing. She is getting on in years, so the sooner.....the better.
I love this combo - I've got the track from a 2002 Jerry Herman tribute - it's on iTunes if you want these two with better audio!

The date of the performance was November 10, 2001 in Los Angeles.
An audio recording was released commercially on CD, and there's a high quality DVD boot of the entire evening in circulation.
All of the S.T.A.G.E. benefit recordings are amazing! Each is devoted to the work of one or more composers.
The Jerome Kern is the best, IMO; it has been played hundreds of times at my house.
