So Eric Sciotto went on as Cry-Baby at today's matinee of Cry-Baby. (Yes I realize it's still going on at the moment)
Did anyone go? Interested to hear how he did for his first time. I saw him as Ramades in Aida (which I hate) and he was pretty great.

I think this was his second time as Cry-Baby Walker. I spoke to him last weekend and he told me that he already went as Cry-baby.

Since I've seen him perform on two different occasions (in two different shows) I'm not doubting his capabilities, but...
does anyone know how OLD he is?
He was playing Tommy Keeler in the national tour of "Annie Get Your Gun" way back in 2000 (!).

It was my first time and last time seeing the show lol but, I do think for an Understudy... I don't see how Mr Snyder could be better than this man. He was really great, had so much energy, a WONDERFUL voice and it seemed like he'd been playing the role for a long time. I do have to give props to Alli Mauzy as Lenora because she took that part and ran with it. I didn't care a rat about Alison, I wanted to see more Lenora.

Certainly not his first time on as Cry Baby. He went on twice (I think on a Saturday) a couple of weeks ago.

Posted: 5/24/08 at 7:38pmHe was awesome...and he looked more age-appropriate in matching Allison.

re: Eric Sciotto as Cry-Baby#9
Posted: 5/24/08 at 7:50pmHe is as good if not better than Snyder. But there is that 'rebel' thing that happens in the film that is just not in the show, that I'd love to see!
