As crazy as an idea in the latest episode of Outside the Box presents, the music/lyrics actually seem to work.
The patter of the first number - the sweet harmony of the second and rising stirring ballad of the third number.
I think this is the strongest episode since Brad Oscar.

I'm honestly shocked Euan Morton hasn't worked more on broadway. He's very talented.

He's wonderful and I really enjoyed working with him. He did one of our Kritzerland shows, too. He's been in LA for a while, but I think he's getting ready to return to NY.

He will be doing Stones In His Pockets at the Yale Rep. It begins the end of January.

You know, BK, Stephen Findle is going to have to get more outrageous if his company is going to stay ahead of reality.

I know, right? This would have been much easier thirty years ago when I first began doing this sort of thing with The Elephant Man (and yes, before any smart guys jump in about The Tall Guy, MY Elephant Man musical was in 1982 for an HBO comedy show).

But we will persevere.

Wanted to like the Kevin Symons episode. But, it didn't work for me. The middle number was a good concept although I expected the nod to My Fair Lady. The last number wasn't outrageous enough - should have been a tap number -- It felt kitschy for the sake of kitchiness, outrageous in concept but not in execution. While I laughed at the first musical number, I felt the joke went on too long and never really advanced.
I still love the series and concept and look forward to the next episode, whatever it may be.
