~ i believe it's either fan made or a custom made one-of-a-kind manufactured by mattel for the broadway bears charity auction.
Hmmmm...in response to what Carlos Alberto said, I vaguely remember them selling a doll as opposed to a bear for the Broadway Bears charity auction. Of course I could be wrong and just imagining things...

It's a hand-customized doll. Mattel has never produced or sold an Evita/Eva Peron Barbie. (25 year Barbie/pop culture collector.)
They have produced a Broadway Themed set before though... most notably, the "Phantom Of the Opera" Ken & Barbie set. It is HIGHLY coveted by Barbie collectors. It goes for hundreds...

on eBay today there is a Buy Now available for $200
kind of on par if you ask me for a collectible especially a 2 doll set.
If Mattel made EVITA dolls, why didn't they ever make BKLYN dolls?
What about a Lea Michele doll?
~ that phantom set is beautiful!
~ @ millie_dumont: you just *had* to go there...
~ watch this thread go rabid!!
Here is the 'Red Carpet Collection' Lea Michele doll, brought to you by Mattel:
~lmao @ brodyfosse123...that was clever!
~ isn't that the barbra doll that was issued a couple of years ago outfitted in her blue sailor suit?
NO. It's the Lea Michele doll issued after she demanded it be issued. Get your story straight, Carlos!
^^ ~ see what did i tell you?

How about a Patti doll that has an inflatable weight-gain body. Also, screeches at you when you pick up your cell phone or mention ALW...

Her doll also had one of those strings that you pulled and it would speak different phrases.
I have a Madame Alexander Evita. She is amazing
