Sorry if this is a duplicate thread!
I'm planning on doing Evita rush tomorrow. What time should I get in line? Anyone been yet?

There were around 30 people at 9 am today. I'd get there at least 2 hours early since it's spring break and all. Guy in the box office said they sold out quickly.

Do you think next week will be as bad considering most people won't be on spring break?
I don't have a picture student ID, could I bring my ID, a school picture, and my schedule?
Does anybody that has rushed know where the seats are?
I got there at 8:50 this morning, and there were about 25 people in front of me. Some of them left when it was announced they were not selling tickets for the matinee. My seats were V 22 / 24. They were marked partial view, but I didn't feel like I missed anything at all.
I got there at 7:45AM this morning. There was about 10 people in line. By 8:15AM there was about 30. Just a heads up for those of you planning to rush in the coming days.
Rush seats are partial view on the extreme left and right sides of the orchestra section.
kyl3fong2, were you able to get a ticket? How many were given away?
I got there at 7:45AM and was 14th person in line, so yes I was! I'm not sure how many were given away but the line was pretty long so I would get there early if I were you. Good luck!
Yes it is! They ask for your student i.d. when you buy the tickets.
Did you see the I.D? I don't have a hard plastic student I.D but I do a paper that count's as our school's student I.D. Will that work?
I'm not sure if that will work. But I have a hard plastic student I.D. and the guy asked me to give it to him so he can look at it. So he does take your I.D. in his hands to check it before selling you tickets.
Has anyone tried this rush more recently? I am hoping it won't be so crazy this week.

I rushed tonight's performance. I got there at 9:45am and there were about 35 people in front of me and about another 15 behind me by 10:00, though I don't think all of them were rushing (at least I know the couple in front of me wasn't, they bought regular tickets). I got the last pair; there were a few other single rush tickets left after me. The guys behind me asked if there would be pairs available for tomorrow and the box office person said "probably not." I'm assuming that means both shows are well sold in advance.
They do ask for student ID still, and they accept credit cards.
Thanks for the update, perfectliar. I decided not to rush for tonight since it looked like only 3 tickets were left total on Ticketmaster, but now a bunch have popped up that I'm assuming went to the rush line.
A reason he said there wouldn't be pairs tomorrow might be because there isn't a performance tomorrow.

I'm not sure I'd bother going on a Saturday. I've went the past two Saturdays and there were no rush tickets either time.
I arrived around 9 on Thursday and was 6th in line. By 10, there were 15-20 people there.
The box office person said they won't be selling rush tickets on the weekends for at least a few months since almost every Saturday show is already sold out.
Anyone try the rush on a monday? Im thinking of going tomorrow but I dont know what time I should go in at.

We went yesterday (Monday) at 7:30 and were the first in line--nobody joined us until about 8am but by 8:30 there were about 10 people in line. The seats were on the far sides of the orchestra, so you missed some of the action on the extreme sides, but not more than 5 minutes of the show.
I walked passed the box office on Sunday. It was closed (there was no show Sunday), but there was a sign on the door, presumably left on from Saturday that said "No student tickets will be sold today."
Personally, I was happy to see this. Not because they aren't selling tickets, but because they are at least letting you know that you don't have to waste your time waiting on line. There have definitely been times when I've waited on line for the box office to open only to find out that they were not offering rush. So if you go and are towards the front you are guaranteed tickets as long as there is no sign.
Has anyone gone in the last few days? I'm thinking of trying the rush this Tuesday. Any advice on what time to arrive? Also, do they check both ticket holders' IDs?
